Soul & Sand Retreat Step away. Return to each other.
Naples, Florida · Private Marriage Intensive

Step away from the noise. Return to each other.

A private retreat for one married couple, combining structured couples counseling, an individual RTT session for each spouse, faith-integrated reflection, and protected time beside the Gulf.

Applying does not commit you to a retreat. Kellie first determines whether the program is clinically appropriate for both spouses.

Create enough space to hear each other again.

Your marriage deserves more than another rushed conversation between work, children, church service, and everyday responsibilities. Soul & Sand creates protected time to understand the patterns keeping you disconnected, work through individual barriers, and build a practical way forward together.

This is not a group retreat or a generic romantic getaway. Kellie works with one couple at a time in a private, carefully paced experience that balances meaningful clinical work with room to breathe.

“Understand what is keeping you apart—and leave Naples with a clearer way back to each other.”

Concentrated support. Unhurried connection.

01

Private

No group sessions, public disclosures, or other couples. The entire retreat is reserved for the two of you.

02

Intensive

Focused time helps identify recurring patterns and practice healthier interaction without waiting weeks between sessions.

03

Individual + Joint

Each spouse receives private attention while joint sessions focus on the relationship and the work of repair.

04

Restorative

The Gulf, quiet meals, shelling, and open space create room for the nervous system—and the relationship—to settle.

05

Transformational

RTT can help uncover deeply held beliefs and emotional patterns that keep repeating, when clinically appropriate and chosen through informed consent.

A focused retreat for couples who still believe their marriage is worth the work.

  • Both spouses voluntarily want to participate.
  • You feel stuck in repetitive conflict or emotional distance.
  • You need focused time away from normal pressures.
  • You are prepared for honest individual and joint work.
  • You want a structured plan, not a generic getaway.

A marriage is more than a relationship.

Soul & Sand is designed especially for married couples whose values have been shaped by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Your faith. Your choice. Your pace.

With the couple’s mutual consent, counseling may integrate principles such as commitment, charity, agency, forgiveness, repentance and repair, unity, prayer, and shared spiritual purpose.

The degree of faith integration is chosen by the couple. Kellie’s role remains clinical rather than doctrinal or ecclesiastical.

Soul & Sand is an independent private counseling retreat. It is not sponsored by, endorsed by, or affiliated with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Clinical counseling is not a substitute for ecclesiastical guidance.

Schedule is subject to change without notice as deemed appropriate for individual or couples’ needs. Retreat dates are confirmed only after workable travel options have been reviewed. Change the beliefs beneath the pattern.

Rapid Transformational Therapy combines focused therapeutic techniques to explore the roots of persistent emotional responses and unhelpful beliefs. Each spouse has private space to work on individual barriers that may be affecting the marriage.

RTT is included only when clinically appropriate and accepted through informed consent. It is never presented as a guaranteed outcome or a replacement for ongoing care when ongoing care is needed.

See the cycle—not each other—as the enemy.

Joint sessions use attachment-based and practical approaches to make recurring relationship patterns visible, strengthen emotional safety, and build healthier ways to communicate and repair.

The goal is not to promise reconciliation. It is to create the privacy, time, and skilled support needed for honest understanding and a clearer shared direction.

Space to be a couple, not only clients.

The retreat deliberately leaves room for the relationship to breathe. Walk the shoreline, search for shells, rest without an agenda, share an unhurried meal, or choose a short round of golf after the clinical work is complete.

The right fit matters more than filling a date.

Both spouses complete individual screening before the retreat is accepted. This protects privacy, confirms voluntary participation, and helps determine whether an intensive format is clinically appropriate.

Clinical history, diagnoses, medication, safety concerns, and detailed relationship information are collected later through the secure SimplePractice intake process—not through this public form.

Before you apply.

Is Soul & Sand a group retreat?

No. Soul & Sand is intentionally designed for one married couple at a time. There are no group sessions, shared disclosures, or other participating couples.

Do we need to be members of the Church?

The retreat is designed with Latter-day Saint couples in mind, but faith integration is always chosen by the couple. An initial conversation can help determine whether the approach fits your values and goals.

How directly is faith included?

You decide together. With mutual consent, sessions may include faith-compatible language and principles such as charity, agency, forgiveness, repentance and repair, prayer, unity, and shared spiritual purpose. Kellie provides clinical—not ecclesiastical—counsel.

Where do sessions take place?

Sessions may take place at an approved private accommodation or another approved location. The exact arrangement is confirmed before booking and depends on privacy, property permission, and clinical suitability.

Are lodging and flights included?

No. Couples book lodging, airfare, local transportation, and any recreation directly. Keeping travel separate allows you to choose the level of accommodation that works for you.

What happens on Sunday?

Sunday has no scheduled counseling or retreat programming. It is reserved for a quiet morning, check-out, airport travel, and your return flight.

Does RTT guarantee a specific result?

No. RTT is offered when clinically appropriate and accepted through informed consent. No therapy method can guarantee reconciliation or a particular result.

Can Kellie continue seeing us after we return home?

Any follow-up psychotherapy depends on professional licensing rules where each client is physically located. No out-of-state ongoing counseling is promised as part of the retreat. Your action plan can include referrals or coordination options when appropriate.

Does applying reserve a date?

No. Applying begins a fit and screening process. Dates are reserved only after clinical suitability, travel feasibility, location, deposit, and written retreat terms are confirmed.
